Kartikay Chadha
Kartikay Chadha is a Bioinformatician and Human Statistical Geneticist. He holds a Masters of Science degree from the University of Toronto. His research aims to develop computational algorithms and databases, to visualize and analyze gene expression data for ageing in humans, and he is working as a Research Analyst at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. Kartikay also works in the Visual Analytics Lab at OCAD University, Toronto, as a Project Manager and Research Assistant. He joined the Lab in 2014, as a Mitacs Globalink Intern during his undergraduate placement. Kartikay leads the technical side of the team with his expertise in computer programming, and big data quantitative and qualitative analyses. He is currently managing a major, multi-institutional collaborative data visualization research project with Principal Investigator Dr. Martha Ladly, funded by her Insight grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, entitled Creating a Visual Language of Marks. Kartikay is also the primary developer of The Language of Marks Collaborative Web-portal.
