Céline Flory
Céline Flory is researcher in History in the French National Center for Scientific Researcher (CNRS). She is a member of the research center Mondes Américains (UMR8168) and of CIRESC (Centre International de Recherches sur les Esclavages et les Post-esclavages, USR 2000). Her research focuses on post-slavery and indentured labor in the Caribbean, in particular on cultural history and social history of African indentured servants and their descendants. She is co-organiser of different seminars on Colonial, Imperial and Caribbean History at the l’Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS).
